Band Bio 

The Alaskan Sunnyside Sisters are a powerhouse young bluegrass and country act, combining youthful energy with remarkable musical skill. Akulina, 15 leads on guitar and vocals; Salima, 13, plays banjo and sings lead and harmony; Cherylann, 12, plays upright bass; and Alaniya, 10, plays mandolin and sings harmony. 
Together, their tight sister harmonies, precise instrumentation, and stage presence far beyond their years make them a standout live act. 
Remarkably, they are the first generation in their family to play music, as their parents have no musical background.

The sisters have played hundreds of shows nationwide, including multiple appearances on the Grand Ole Opry. They’ve performed at major festivals and continue to build a devoted following, with over 350,000 fans across social media and more than 110 million video views showcasing their talent and charm.

Their debut album, The Sunnyside of Bluegrass, highlights their lively style, tight harmonies, and instrumental skill. Studying with top instructors in bluegrass and country music, the sisters continue to refine their technique, tone, and ensemble balance, delivering polished and authentic performances on every stage.
