The Alaskan Sunnyside Sisters

Salima brings a whole lot of rhythm, personality, and joy to every show. She’s hilarious, quick-witted, and somehow even faster on her feet — she ran a full 26-mile marathon on her 12th birthday!  Whether she’s cracking jokes or laying down a hard-driving banjo break, Salima lights up every stage we play on. She says she’s the best banjo player in Alaska… and honestly, we’re not going to argue with her (especially since she might also be the only one ).Playing bluegrass with her makes everything more fun — and you’ll definitely see her smiling the whole way through.
